A skiff of snow to greet you on your Wednesday commute

A dusting of snow fell over areas of the Treasure Valley overnight and into Wednesday morning.

As it stands, most of the snow stuck to sidewalks and grassy areas.

Although Ada and Canyon County officials are reporting no crashes so far, you still may want to give yourself some extra time.

Meteorologist Nate Larsen says there's the possibility of additional snow showers, but don't expect any accumulation.

After the front moves through, high pressure will begin to build into the area on Thursday. Another fast moving disturbance could bring a few clouds to the region on Friday. But, after that, the pattern looks really dry Saturday, Sunday and through the first of next week. We’ll see mostly sunny skies this weekend with highs in the 40's.
